On 16 October 2025, a Ukrainian citizen suspected of negligent homicide was extradited from Poland to Ukraine. The suspect had been apprehended in Poland in June 2025 and, after four months, was surrendered to the Ukrainian authorities.
In Ukraine, an investigating judge ordered pre-trial detention without the right to release on bail.
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Khmelnytskyi District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Khmelnytskyi Region.
