The President adopted three decrees on the application of sanctions at once.
All sanctioned persons were deprived of state awards of Ukraine for life.
By the Decree #267/2025 sanctions for the first time were imposed on 9 individuals – citizens of Ukraine and Russia.
Sanctions for 10 years were imposed on political scientists and journalists who publicly oppose the Ukrainian authorities.
The sanctions were imposed on:
- Oleksiy Arestovych, a former freelance adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
- Members of the banned political party Derzhava in Ukraine.
By the Decree #268/2025 sanctions were imposed on 6 individuals and 36 legal entities for 10 years.
Among the sanctioned individuals are:
- Oleksiy Azarov – son of former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.
- Alexey Likhachev – CEO of the Russian state corporation Rosatom. He is on 2 sanctions lists at the same time, as the previous sanctions (in force until 24.05.25) have not been cancelled.
Sanctioned entities are companies engaged in the extraction and sale of minerals for the oil sector of the Russian Federation.
By the Decree #269/2025 sanctions were imposed on 61 individuals and 45 legal entities for 10 years.
The sanctions include charitable foundations, volunteer and veteran organizations that provide assistance to the Russian army during the war, as well as their affiliates.
