The President of Ukraine adopted 2 Decrees on the application of sanctions.
By the Decree #246/2025 sanctions for the first time were imposed on 20 individuals – citizens of the Russian Federation for 10 years.
The sanctions were applied to propagandists – Russian cultural and sports figures.
Among them: Nikita Dzhigurda, Nikolai Tsiskaridze and Igor Sukachev.
All of them were permanently deprived of state awards of Ukraine.
By the Decree #247/2025 sanctions were imposed on 39 individuals and 60 legal entities for 10 years for the first time.
The sanctioned persons are Russian CEOs and top management of industrial companies leading in the supply of equipment for the military sector of the Russian Federation.
The legal entities include 57 Russian companies and 3 Chinese companies.
The sanctioned legal entities are companies that produce raw materials and equipment to meet the needs of the Russian military sector.
The companies are directly involved in the production of missiles, ammunition and other weapons used in the war against Ukraine.
All sanctioned persons were deprived of Ukrainian state awards for life.
