The President of Ukraine has imposed sanctions on 2 individuals for 3 years

The sanctions apply to:

• Timur Mindich
• Oleksandr Tsukerman

An interesting detail: the sanctions apply to them as citizens of Israel, not Ukraine. The NSDC decision does not specify their Ukrainian tax numbers.

However, according to information in the YouControl registry, the individuals subject to sanctions are citizens of Ukraine.

The application of sanctions as if they were non-residents is a “gift to a friend.”

We assume that this was done to provide additional time to preserve business and assets in Ukraine.

If these individuals were stripped of their Ukrainian citizenship, it would significantly complicate their extradition.
