Sanctions have been imposed for 10 years on 8 individuals – citizens of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
Those subject to sanctions are high-ranking government officials who finance, support, and justify the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine.
Among them are:
- Andrei Omelchuk – Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation
- Andrei Malyshev – Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation
- Kirill Dmitriev – CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation
- Oleksandr Tupytskyi – former head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine
The restrictions on Tupitsky were introduced to mirror the US sanctions imposed in 2021.

Sanctions for 10 years have been imposed on 5 legal entities – commercial publishing houses in the Russian Federation that spread Russian narratives and anti-Ukrainian sentiments in order to justify the war.
The restrictions apply to:
- Piter Publishing House
- Yauza
- Tsentrpoligraf
- Viche
- Knizhkovyi Svit
