On 10 June, the President of Ukraine imposed 50-year sanctions on 46 individuals and 9 legal entities.
The individuals were involved in the abduction of children from the temporarily occupied territories and their deportation to Russia.
Among them are:
- Vadim Ilmiev – former acting Minister of Health of Kherson region
- Lyudmila Bolataeva – Minister of Social Development of the Moscow region
- Dmitry Shevtsov – Head of the Belarusian Red Cross
All individuals are included in the War Sanctions lists as child abductors.
Sanctioned legal entities are organizations and educational institutions of the Russian Federation that have been involved in the abduction and detention of Ukrainian children.
The list of sanctions applied for 50 years has been extended to:
- Irina Ageeva – children’s ombudsman of the Kaluga region
- Sergey Gavrilchuk – head of the regional headquarters of the Unarmy in Crimea
