The state has seized the assets of collaborators. To whom did the High Anti-Corruption Court apply the sanction?

The President of Ukraine adopted 2 decrees on the application of sanctions.

10-year restrictions were imposed on the following:

• 391 individuals, including businessmen and politicians of the Russian Federation
• Ukrainian businessmen Firtash and Fuchs
• 367 legal entities in various industries.

These decrees extended the 3-year sanctions imposed in 2021.

The difference is that the new decrees allow the Ministry of Justice to apply to the HACC to nationalize the assets of the sanctioned persons.

Additionally, the sanctions imposed in 2022 on “politicians” of the so-called LPR and DPR have been changed, including:

• extending the duration of the sanctions from 5 to 10 years

• expanding the scope of the sanctions applied.
