Attorneys of VB Partners law firm have defended the interests of the CEO of a group of companies in the oil refining industry. He is suspected of committing crimes that entailed material damage in the amount of 1,200,000,000 UAH.
The client was put on the national and international wanted list. He was arrested at an airport in a European country. In relation to him a detention as a preventive measure was chosen.
In 2019, VB Partners team took up the matter. Our lawyers carried out diligent and expert work.
As a result, we have judicially proved that the Client does not have the procedural status of the suspect and have achieved the cancellation of the preventive measure. Also, as a result of the active communication of VB PARTNERS lawyers with Interpol authorities, the Client has been removed from the international wanted list.
According to all rules, he was threatened with detention and a tedious extradition process with subsequent trials.
We do not stop and we are still fighting. Currently, measures are being taken to close the criminal proceedings due to the lack of corpus delicti.
