VB Partners’ lawyer, Oleksandr Sverhun, was killed while performing a battle task in the Pokrovskyi direction. The tragedy occurred on 23 December 2024. He was 27 years old.
Oleksandr joined the VB Partners team in 2021. With the outbreak of full-scale war, he volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served as the head of the reconnaissance group of the 59th separate storming brigade of unmanned systems named after Yakov Handziuk.
During his time on the frontline, Oleksandr took part in key operations: the liberation of the Kherson region and the counter-offensive of 2023 as part of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade. He later continued his service with the 59th brigade.
VB Partners team expresses its sincere condolences to Oleksandr’s family and friends. We will remember him as a highly qualified lawyer and a brave hero.
